Limited Space — Only 12 Students per Session

This is a rare opportunity to receive direct teachings and training from Manju and Sathu Jois, continuing the living lineage of Ashtanga Yoga. To honor the sacred tradition and ensure that each practitioner receives the right guidance, please complete the questionnaire. There is a prerequisite to be met before acceptance into this program. Once received, Christina will personally reach out to connect with you and confirm of which and if the training aligns with your current path, intention, and level of practice.

Lodging & Location:
Accommodations are arranged by Christina Martini for all students and practitioners attending the teacher training. Unless otherwise requested to be exempt for accommodations. Our space is a simple yet peaceful sanctuary within walking distance to the beaches — Moonlight, Beacon’s, and Stonesteps — and the vibrant Encinitas downtown filled with healthy cafés and local eateries. We are just 7 minutes from Manju’s studio for training sessions.

Lodging options include shared rooms (two beds per room) with another student to keep the journey affordable.
If attending as a couple, you may request a private room or if you prefer a Single-room accommodations are also available upon request at full cost.

This is a unique opportunity to practice and study directly with Manju P. Jois and Sathu Jois in a Mysore class setting.
The Mysore classes are open for everybody with an established Ashtanga Yoga practice and who is familiar with Mysore Style Classes. A special bonding time includes Sanskrit chanting of Mantras, Pranayama , Stories of Lineage and Yoga Traditions, Q & A.

Manju Jois is known for his healing hands and his precise adjustments and now has passed on to his daughter, Sathu Jois. He has over 45 years teaching experience and is a master in Yoga Therapy. He started yoga at age seven with his father Sri K. Patthabi Jois in Mysore and began teaching at age 15. He has taught continuously throughout the world for the past 50 years. Manju Jois‘ dedicated life-long mission is to provide training for students and teachers in the traditions of Ashtanga Yoga. Manju trains students in the ancient style of yoga, which is a combination of the asanas, Pranayamas and meditation chants. Manju’s teaching style is traditional as yoga is and joyful, inspiring and humorous. He and his daughter Sathu are honored to pass along all of the traditional components of yoga to his students and direct teachers who are trained and learned from him as he encourages them: “Unite with yourself“.

Daily schedule: 8:30am- 1:00pm - Ashtanga history, philosophy, methodology, We begin with asana Mysore style practice, deeper study of pranayama- breath for ashtanga yoga therapy and sanskrit mantra -vedic chanting, discussion , Hand on Ashtanga Teacher training Assists, adjustment of postures from primary, intermediate and advance practices to apply as yoga therapy . Each day of our training may include a specially ayurvedica and italian prepared meal by our teacher, Manju Jois and his wife, Nancy Jois.

Schedule is subject to change per Manju to a later start 830am or 9 am ends at 1 or 2pm .
