BREATHE. PRACTICE. TEACH.

200-Hour Holistic Therapeutic Wellness Yoga Teacher Training

Where Breath Becomes Teaching

Personalized Mysore • Therapeutic Movement • Strength • Mobility • Balance • Breathwork • Recovery • Functional Wellness

This RYT 200-hour teacher training offers a holistic, therapeutic, and individualized approach to yoga, movement, health, and wellness.

Rather than training teachers to simply lead everyone through the same yoga sequence, this program teaches you how to see the individual in front of you, understand their needs, and develop an appropriate personalized practice.

Using the Mysore method as an individualized teaching approach, students learn how to observe movement, teach progressively, provide appropriate modifications, and create personalized practice programs based on each person's abilities, goals, movement needs, and stage of life.

The training integrates:

Movement • Functional Strength • Mobility • Flexibility • Balance • Stability • Coordination • Breathwork • Relaxation • Recovery • Stress Management • Body Awareness • Functional Performance • Health & Wellness

Primary Series postures provide the foundational movement framework in Module 1. Adaptive movement and modifications are taught throughout so the practice can be adjusted to the individual.

Module 2 builds upon that foundation using selected Intermediate postures and movement patterns to explore further strength, mobility, stability, coordination, movement control, and appropriate progression.

The person comes first. The practice follows.

A HEALTH & WELLNESS APPROACH TO TEACHING

Health and wellness are about much more than performing yoga postures. A person's ability to move well can involve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, breathing, stability, recovery, stress, lifestyle, and overall function. Throughout this training, you will learn to look beyond the posture and ask: What does this person need?

Where do they need more strength? Where do they need greater mobility? How is their balance and coordination? How are they breathing and moving?

What should be modified? What is an appropriate starting point? When should the practice progress? When might a simpler movement be more beneficial?

The purpose is to develop teachers who understand how to observe, educate, adapt, and teach the individual rather than simply teach a sequence.

PERSONALIZED MYSORE TEACHING

Mysore is used as the foundation for individualized teaching throughout this program. Instead of everyone performing the same movements at the same pace, each person develops their own practice while receiving personal instruction and guidance. Teachers learn how to:

• Observe individual movement and abilities
• Determine an appropriate starting point
• Develop a personalized practice program
• Teach progressively
• Modify and adapt postures
• Integrate breath and movement
• Develop strength, mobility and balance
• Support coordination and functional movement
• Recognize when progression is appropriate
• Reassess and adapt the practice as needs change
• Help students develop independence and confidence

One teaching environment. Individual practices. Personalized guidance.

PERSONALIZED PRACTICE PLANNING

A central part of this training is learning how to develop an individualized movement and wellness practice plan. A personalized program may include:

Yoga Postures • Adaptive Movement • Functional Strength • Mobility • Flexibility • Balance • Coordination • Breathwork • Relaxation • Recovery • Stress Management • Wellness Practices

Students learn how to consider the person's current abilities, goals, movement experience, lifestyle, strength, mobility, balance, breathing, and recovery needs. You will learn how to teach progressively, observe how someone responds, and appropriately adapt the practice as their needs and abilities change.

This training does not prepare yoga teachers to diagnose or treat medical conditions. It teaches students to provide thoughtful, individualized yoga and wellness instruction within their professional scope and to recognize when referral to an appropriate healthcare professional is needed.

200-Hour RYT Training Module 1 establishes the foundation for personalized therapeutic teaching. Students learn both the foundational sequence and how to adapt it to individual needs.

• Health and wellness foundations

Learn the framework. Understand the purpose. Adapt it to the person.

MODULE 2

Growth & Progression: Intermediate Postures & Therapeutic Application

100-Hour Continuing Education / YACEP Module 2 builds upon the foundations developed in Module 1.

Selected Intermediate postures and movement patterns are introduced as additional tools for developing:

Strength • Mobility • Stability • Balance • Coordination • Movement Control • Functional Performance • Personal Growth

The goal is not simply to perform more difficult postures. Students learn when, why, and for whom progression may be appropriate. Progress may mean greater strength. It may mean better mobility or balance. It may mean improved coordination and movement control. It may mean better breathing, greater body awareness, improved confidence, or a more consistent practice.

Progression is personal.

WHERE BREATH BECOMES TEACHING

This training is not about memorizing a sequence and teaching everyone the same way.

It is about learning to see the person before the posture.

To understand movement.

To understand breath.

To understand strength, mobility, balance, coordination, relaxation, recovery, and function.

And most importantly, to learn how to bring those tools together into an individualized practice that meets the person where they are.

See the person. Understand the need. Develop the practice. Teach with purpose.

BREATHE. PRACTICE. TEACH.
